Deep strategic and tactical game publisher Hooded Horse and developer-focused publisher Firesquid Games have revealed the strategy game line-up for TactiCon 2024.
The digital convention dedicated to uplifting strategy games of all types will take place in July on Steam. Featuring over 100 titles there will be plenty of discounts, demos, and delightful announcements. Participating titles spread across seven sub-categories: Grand Strategy, 4X, SRPG, Turn-Based Deckbuilding, RTS, Tactical Combat, and Tower Defense.
Participating titles come from a range of developers both big and small. The entire Hooded Horse catalog of strategic and tactical games will be on display including Manor Lords, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, Empires of the Undergrowth, and Against the Storm. Firesquid Games’ line-up includes the recently released Reus 2 and Crab God.
Paradox Interactive and Paradox Arc will feature nine of their titles including Crusader Kings III, Hearts of Iron IV, Stellaris, and Europa Universalis IV. Shiro Games is showing off three of their games: Wartales, Dune: Spice Wars, and Northgard. Owlcat Games will feature the epic 40K CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader and the studio’s previous hit, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Other iconic games such as Redhook’s Darkest Dungeon II, Bay 12 Games’ Dwarf Fortress, Ludeon Studios’ RimWorld, and Mechanistry’s Timberborn are in the event’s line-up. Several highly anticipated upcoming titles such as Ground Shelter’s Knights in Tight Spaces, Slipgate Ironworks’ Tempest Rising, Spiral Up Games’ Wandering Sword, and Proxy Studios’ ZEPHON are also participating in the event.
Kicking-off the five-day event is a thrilling TactiCon 2024 showcase. Featuring a variety of gameplay, trailers, and reveals from participating developers the showcase is hosted by returning popular strategy creators GamerZakh and ReeneSky. Throughout the event, the TactiCon team will have a powerful program of panels and talks.
TactiCon 2024 Event Information
TactiCon 2024 is scheduled to run for a total of five days from July 18 to July 22, 2024. The all digital convention event takes place on Steam. A full line-up of participating games can be found on the official TactiCon event website.
