Happy belated Valentine’s Day and hope that is everyone is having a wonderful weekend! Over this past week NGN covered some big updates to Satisfactory and Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. Sims came out in force with Hokko Life and Yes, Your Grace making announcement news. Plus a Valentine’s Day release came for the physics dating sim Table Manners.

However, during the hustle and bustle of this past week, Nano Gaming News missed a few stories that should have been covered. In this week’s Weekly Rewind news about PUBG bringing Arcade Mode to the hit game tops our list. Early access title Dog Duty made console announcements while Dreadlands decided to have a name the monster contest. Also Oddria! is seeking closed beta testers.

PUBG Arcade Mode Team Deathmatch

PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of Bluehole, made a big announcement this past week about their upcoming Update 6.2 that includes an Arcade Mode with Team Deathmatch. The addition of Arcade Mode will enable players to enjoy new ways to play PUBG outside of the traditional battle Royale format.

Currently available on the test server, the Team Deathmatch mode pits two teams of eight against each other in a race to 50 kills or whoever has the highest kill count after 10 minutes per round. The final victor is determined in a best out of three. Each Team Deathmatch takes place in featured sections from PUBG’s maps that have been converted into smaller battlefields.

Along with Update 6.2 throwables are seeing a rebalance. More specific the Frag grenade will weigh considerably more meaning one can carry less. This will impact late match gameplay where in recent months has become more of a frag grenade spam-fest. For a full list of the extensive changes in PC Update 6.2 players can visit the PUBG website at pubg.com.

Update 6.2 is expected to arrive on PC for live servers February 19, 2020. PUBG is available for purchase on Steam for $29.99 USD and is currently in Season 6 of its survivor pass that is also available for purchase priced at $9.99 USD.
