Joystick Ventures and developer Happy Juice Games today announced that their upcoming point-and-click animated puzzle adventure, Lost in Play, is heading to PC and Switch. Available this summer, the game aims to deliver a family-friendly visual adventure with one’s imagination.
Taking inspiration from modern cartoons for children and adults, Lost in Play also pays homage to Saturday morning cartoons by recapturing the spirit of play from being young. This feel-good adventure follows a brother and sister, Toto and Gal, who explore dreamscapes and befriend magical creatures. Lost in their own imagination, the two siblings must work together to solve puzzles and find their way back home.
We created Lost in Play to be the kind of experience that gamers of our generation can play in front of their kids. We wanted to use the spirit of the cartoons we all grew up watching to connect with the sense of adventure most of us enjoyed when we were younger we tend to lose touch with as we get older. Recapturing that magic is what we set out to do, and we hope players will enjoy finding the charm, the nostalgia, and the feel-good factor whilst they’re Lost in Play.

The 2D adventure features mysterious animated puzzles with cartoon-stylized visuals. Magical creatures can be seen throughout the game. All information is communicated visually as there are no text or dialogues. A variety of activities including playing cards with goblins, creating a dragon, and teaching a sheep to fly are in the game. More than 30 unique puzzles and mini-games are available to help create this family-friendly adventure.
Lost in Play is coming to PC for Windows and Mac via Steam and Nintendo Switch for $19.99. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam where a demo is also available for play. PC pre-orders are available on the Happy Juice Games’ website at happyjuice.games.
