Bang-On Balls: Chronicles PC and Console Release Date Set for October

Untold Tales and indie developer Exit Plan Games have set an October release date for the full launch of Bang-On Balls: Chronicles on PC and consoles. Final release includes more content for the already content-heavy title.

On October 5, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles graduates from Early Access to full release with another open-world map. In a fight against a giant Kaiju, the new map has players time traveling between feudal and modern Japan. All owners of the game on PC will get this content for free at launch.

Loaded with goofy content, the game is a destructible open-world sandbox adventure with combat, platforming, character customization, and item-collecting. More than 400 items can be used to customize characters. Flags, hats, masks, shields, tattoos, weapons and more can be collected while playing as there are no paid cosmetic DLCs.

Play solo, in up to 4-player online co-op, or on 2-player split screen in a 3D adventure experience traveling around the world and through time. The highly-destructible maps take players to many historical places and eras. Meet Vikings, be a Pirate, see the Space Race, visit the Roman Baths or fight in Feudal Japan. Combat features tight controls. Players can smash, dash, and steamroll their way around the world.

Throughout our careers, we’ve been making games that demanded a very high level of production on a lot of fronts. Tight controls, varied gameplay, smart level design, loads of content, intricate AI systems, the list goes on. All so that these massive maps felt alive and fun to play in for hours and hours. Despite now being an indie dev, we applied the exact same approach and standards here. The game is fundamentally built around the idea of giving players something that is absolutely stuffed with varied things to do but is always fun to play. It’s something that can easily be fired up for a few relaxing minutes and feel like you made progress, or be a game you play for 40+ hours or more.
