Team17 Digital and Norwegian game developer Sarepta Studio have entered into a partnership to publish the first person psychological narrative mystery adventure Thalassa: Edge of the Abyss.
Dive deep into an atmospheric story of self-discovery, intricate relationships, and sorrow at the bottom of the sea. Set in 1905, follow the story of Cam, a deep-sea diver and former member of the now sunken Thalassa, on an expedition to the ship’s final resting place on the sea floor.
Uncover the mystery of the disaster by exploring the wreckage. Avoid obstacles and use tools to unblock areas of the ship. Look for clues left by the crew and piece together the events on what caused the ship to sink.
As the only diver left, it is up to Cam to unravel this mystery. Follow the personal struggles of each Thalassa crew member and explore how stress, grief, and loss impacts their state of mind. Pick apart the complexities of human emotions and learn about the intricate relationships between the crew members. With diligence, players may find answers to questions that Cam so desperately seeks.
