Hooded Horse and Firesquid Games are teaming up again to uplift and shine a spotlight on strategy games with TactiCon 2024. The evergrowing digital convention will take place on Steam this July.
TactiCon is perfect for all Strategy subgenres such as Grand Strategy, 4X, SRPG, Turn-Based Deckbuilding, RTS, Tactical Combat, and Tower Defense to showoff upcoming games. The event will feature demos for future games, discounts on released titles, and a packed schedule of panels, talks, and developer livestreams.

Introduced at TactiCon 2023, the TactiCon Showcase will be returning with loads of announcements and footage from exciting upcoming strategy games. TactiCon 2024 will be the third year of the event with the first being held in September 2022. Last year the event’s page drew over 1.6 million unique visitors with 106 titles participating in the event. In addition there were nine expertly run panels and talks along with more than 40 hours of developer livestreams.
TactiCon Game and Panel Submission Details
Game submissions are officially open for TactiCon 2024. Developers can submit their projects, exclusive announcements, or both via the TactiCon 2024 Game Submission Form here.
Since its inception, Tacticon has provided increased visibility to strategy games and their creators. We are very proud of the impact the event has had on indie developers across the world.

Developers who are interested in submitting their strategy game for the event will want to check the submission prerequisites that are viewable at the top of the form. The submission deadline in May 8, 2024 and developers should receive a response by May 31, 2024.
Submissions for panels and talks are open for anyone who wants to contribute to the show. The deadline for panels and talks is April 21, 2024, and can be registered via the TactiCon 2024 Call for Speakers form here.
TactiCon 2024 Event Information
TactiCon 2024 is scheduled to run from July 18 to July 22. The all digital convention event will take place on Steam.
