Hooded Horse and developer Eremite Games have revealed a post-release roadmap for their fantasy roguelite survival city builder sim, Against the Storm. More free content updates are planned along with a DLC that will add a new playable species.
Fresh off the January 1.1 Update that added new decorations, unique trader portraits, new orders, an auto-pause notification, and various UI/UX improvements, the game now has a post-release roadmap available. The next free patch will be Update 1.2 and then much later this year the 1.3 update will be released.
The next free patch will be Update 1.2 and will include unique art for world events, Blightpost upgrades, and localization support for Spanish-speaking Latin American countries. In addition in 1.2, players will have access to new windows that will help track trends across city production and consumption.
Information about the DLC is limited at this time. The team has put forward ideas that they will be exploring over the coming months that include more playable species, an additional biome, new buildings, events, perks, and orders. More news regarding the DLC and the content it will contain will be shared at a later date.
Details about Update 1.3 have yet to be revealed. The Against the Storm post-release roadmap is not complete and players are reminded that the content listed on the roadmap is subject to change based on a range of factors.
