Simfest 2023 Event on Steam

Auroch Digital and Stray Fawn Studio have kicked-off the simulation-focused festival, Simfest 2023, on Steam.

Simfest 2023 runs from July 20 through July 24, and features over 100 titles. Steam users have the chance to experience discounts across a range of games in the simulation genre. In addition, players can see what is next for the genre with several highlighted coming soon titles.

During the event, several participating titles will have special announcements. Among those titles include announcements from Human: Fall Flat, Ishtar Game’s Lakeburg Legacies, Heroes & Villains DLC for Airships: Conquer the Skies, The Tenants Pets DLC, Vertigo Gaming’s Cook, Serve, Delicious, Construction Simulator, an Sticky Business. Many more titles will also have their own announcements.

First debuting in 2022 with Hobby Edition, Auroch Digital partnered with Steam to run the event. Last year’s event included a variety of talks and panels. This year’s festival is more focused on highlighting released and upcoming simulation games on Steam. Simfest 2023 is the frist time Auroch Digital and Stray Fawn Studio have partnered for an event.

Simfest 2023 Organizers

Auroch Digital (@AurochDigital Twitter, @AurochDigital Facebook, YouTube) is a part of the Sumo PLC Group. Founded in 2010, and based in Bristol, United Kingdom, the game development studio works on original titles and has an interest in making games that relate to the real world. The studio specializes in strategy, simulation, and digital tabletop games.

Stray Fawn Studio (@StrayFawnStudio Twitter, @StrayFawnStudio Facebook, YouTube) is an indie game studio based in Zurich, Switzerland. The ten person studio was founded by Micha Stettler and Philomena Schwab. With procedural content generation and the simulation of living worlds forming the core of the studio’s creations, the team’s focus is on developing their own projects, often in the simulation game genre.
