Revita Getting Physical Editions for PlayStation and Switch

Dear Villagers and solo indie developer BenStar, aka Benjamin Kiefer, have announced that Revita is getting physical editions for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

In Revita, players play as a nameless child who has no memory of who or where they are. By climbing an ominous clocktower and facing off against procedurally generated encounters of foes and challenges can the child uncover lost memories. As players progress they can exchange health for upgrades, daring them to live on the razor’s edge while discovering the mysteries of the strange world.

First launching in Early Access in March 2021, Revita started out with only three biomes, 150 relics, some world inhabitants, and over 30 vanity hats. Since then the twin-stick roguelite 2D platformer went on to fully release in April 2022 with a range of updates, additions, weapons, and more hats.

Revita Physical Editions

Revita was heavily inspired by 16-bit platformers, back when all video games were physical cartridges, so having Revita available as a limited edition physical release feels like the way it was always meant to be. Reception for Revita has been overwhelmingly positive, so I’m thrilled that people are excited to proudly display Revita on their shelf!

The physical edition release of Revita will take place in Q4 2023 and will cost $34.99 / €34.99. A Deluxe Edition is available, adding a double-sided poster, acrylic stand, and sticker sheet.

Pre-orders are available for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch via Red Art Games. Interested buyers will want to pre-order as soon as possible with Deluxe Editions being limited to 300 copies each. The standard edition will have an unlimited number of copies.

Revita Availability

Revita is available digitally on Windows PC via Humble Bundle and Steam and on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for $16.99.
