Publisher Hooded Horse and indie developer 3DIVISION have announced details about an upcoming World Maps DLC for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. The DLC adds eight new maps based on real-world locations to the cold war-era city building and economy management sim.
Bring socialism to the rest of the world when the World Maps DLC releases later this December. From the British Isles to United States East Coast, there are plenty of locales ready to have their economies managed by fellow comrades. The full map list includes: Austria, British Isles, Czech Republic, East Germany, Eastern United States (New York State down to North Carolina), Estonia, France, and North Korea.
Each map will differ by their overall size and challenges presented by the local topography. Pre-generated towns, cities, and infrastructure are included. Players will need to mold and shape their nations over time to create a new wave of Soviet Republics.
The DLC will be localized into the same languages available in the base game.

The Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic World Maps DLC will be available for purchase on December 12, 2024, via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is available on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99. The game’s soundtrack is also available for $4.99 and a Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic – Help for Ukraine DLC is available for $4.99 on Steam, and a Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Biomes DLC is available for $9.99.
