Independent game developer and publisher Alawar have announced an end of October release date for their fast-paced melee-focused roguelite game, Karate Survivor.
Become a martial arts master using the body and environment to take down thugs. Taking inspiration from 1980’s action movies, fights take place across city streets to local convenience stores.
Nearly anything from the pixel art environment can be used as a weapon to take down enemies. From mop handles to pink flamingos, environmental manipulation is key to survival. Slam thugs into microwave doors, pull down scaffolding, or push objects at enemies to stop any threats.
Use fists and feet to unleash devastating bone-crunching dynamic combos. Hone fighting skills by crafting one’s own fighting style with hundreds of attacks. Utilize and master the wide array of attacks. and then chain together up to six moves to fit one’s strategy.
Runs are fast-paced with rapid street battles and action-packed showdowns paying homage to classic action movies. Explore a diverse range of locations with each offering distinct challenges and combat items. Every zone contains fearsome bosses that pushes players to their limits.
Karate Survivor Availability
Karate Survivor has a release date set for October 30, 2024. The game will launch on Windows PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam and get notified when it becomes available. A free to play Karate Survivor demo is currently available on Steam.
