Karate Survivor Announced for 2024

Independent game developer and publisher Alawar announced that their fast-paced melee-focused survivor-like game, Karate Survivor, is heading to PC later this year. Taking inspiration from 1980’s action movies, players will become a martial arts master using the body and environment to take down thugs.

Get ready to use fists and feet to unleash devastating bone-crunching dynamic combos. Hone fighting skills by crafting one’s own fighting style with hundreds of attacks. Utilize and master the wide array of attacks and then chain together up to six moves to fit one’s strategy. Runs are fast-paced with rapid street battles and action-packed showdowns that pay homage to classic action movies.

In the game, players can use anything from the pixel art environment as a weapon to take down enemies. From mop handles to pink flamingos, environmental manipulation is key to survival. Push around objects, trigger scaffolding collapses, or slam foes faces into a microwave door.

Explore a diverse range of locations. Each offer distinct challenges and combat items. Every zone contains fearsome bosses that will test a players limits.

Karate Survivor Availability

Karate Survivor has a planned release date set for sometime in 2024. The game will launch on Windows PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam and get notified when it becomes available.
