Midnight Ghost Hunt 1.0 Full Release Coming this March

Coffee Stain Publishing and Vaulted Sky Games are getting ready for the 1.0 full release of their hide-and-seek title, Midnight Ghost Hunt. The 4v4 multiplayer ghost versus ghost hunter game will exit Early Access later this March.

After nearly two years of Early Access development, Midnight Ghost Hunt is heading to its official full version 1.0 release. With the release comes a wealth of game transformations, changes, and updates. From all 10 maps being fully revamped to a whole new Ghost and Hunter bot AI, the developers are leaving little untouched as the clock approaches midnight.

All 10 maps have been fully revamped to ensure their best versions are available for the 1.0 release. New designs, new layouts, new lighting, strategic hiding spots, improved gameplay flows, and so much more has been done to overhaul the maps.

Both Ghost and Hunter bots have received a major AI upgrade. Improved strategies and navigation will be employed by the updated AI. These changes will make AI allies essential and foes frightening. For example a Hunter bot may equip a Radar and follow Ghosts during the hunt.

There are three Bot difficulty levels for players to choose from: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Players may also leave the bots on Auto which will adjust to the average player level in the server. In addition, bots now have more personality with fresh names, skins, and profile pictures.

Ghost visuals are being improved in the release. With the new and improved visuals offer a significant upgrade with their overall appearance and aura.

Hunters will be able to pick weapon skins for all their weapons. Ghost Shards can be used to unlock Hunter weapon skins similar to other cosmetics. Players can unlock the Master achievement for a given weapon to unlock a shinny golden skin for that weapon. In addition several Hunter weapons will include new VFX that contrast better against the Ghost blues in the full release.

Heading is into a hunt is stressful, that is more than enough reason for the van ride to be revamped. The van’s interior is now designed for maximum comfort on those long trips to the haunted locales.
