Toplitz Productions and Polish developer Superkami have released Sengoku Dynasty in Early Access, their open-world game set in a fictional feudal Japan. Featuring a multi genre blend of RPG, city building, life simulator, and survival elements, players will find themselves immersed in the Sengoku period of Japan’s past.
Players start the game with the goal of building their own legacy on their own or with up to 3 others in co-op mode. The path to prosperity is a difficult one as the Sengoku period of feudal Japan is filled with famine and war.
Starting off in the Peasant Kingdom, players need to complete various tasks if they wish to create a lasting legacy. Supporting the village community will help bring growth and prosperity to the region. Players will want to expand villages to grow their influence. To improve the way of life, buildings such as breweries, workshops, houses, watch towers and shrines can be constructed.
Crafting essential tools and forging both melee and ranged weapons enable a means of survival. Weapons such as katanas and bows are not just for hunting, they also enable players to defend their lands.
Using the power of Unreal Engine 5, the natural splendor of the game’s vast open world is on full display. A diverse range of biomes from bamboo forests to snowy mountain peaks are ready for exploration. Players will want to take in the natural beauty of Japan’s serene cherry groves, open plains, and mist-covered hot springs as the seasons change in game.
