Bonus Stage Publishing has signed a publishing deal with independent game studio Kamara Creations for Redgar: The Space Viking. Top-down shooter fans can check out a demo for Redgar: The Space Viking on Steam now.
Combining dark medieval times with science fiction, Redgar: The Space Viking takes place in a retro-futuristic world. As a young and reckless space Viking named Redgar, players must save their family from an evil regime. With aid of the old gods, this evil regime plans to take over the world.
Featuring pixel art handcrafted levels, players can explore dark and grim spaceships and dungeons. Players can choose to explore the world with a subtle stealth approach or enter every room with guns blasting anything and everything.
The game’s story is centered around a mysterious rock of unknown origins that strikes the Earth, bringing never before seen technology to humans. An array of different melee and ranged weapons are available for use. Players can reflect bullets and other projectiles using an energy shield. Gameplay is promised by the developers to be explosive, fast-paced, and will leave players wanting more.
