Wired Productions and Italian studio LKA announced a release date for the dark first-person psychological thriller Martha Is Dead. Starting on February 24, 2022, thriller genre gamers can experience this immersive experience on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox family of devices. Physical edition pre-orders are now available.
Using the powerful Unreal Engine 4, Martha Is Dead takes players on journey of deep psychological distress. By combining real-world Italian countryside locations with links to historical events during the later part of World War II along with superstition and folklore the game offers an immersive experience that gamers will not forget.
The latest trailer for the game shows off some of Unreal’s new MetaHuman technology. In the video the twins, Martha and Giulia are revealed. There is a special bond between the two and viewers are treated to a glimpse of how dealing with the trauma of loss can affect the mind.
Martha Is Dead has been a long journey for us, but we’re now nearing the point where the whole world will get to play it. This is an experience curated to be faithful and accurate to the era, from our authentic recreation of the Tuscan countryside through to the impact that WWII had on Italy. We can’t wait for people to experience the game for themselves.

Martha Is Dead is scheduled to launch on Steam for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 24, 2022. Pre-orders are now available for the physical release on PS4 and PS5 at shop.wiredproductions.com. The physical version will release with an exclusive reversible sleeve, fold out double-sided A3 poster, collectable sticker sheet and a digital download of a Tarot card pack based on the in-game cards.
