Super Buckyball Tournament Major Beta Begins

Pathea Games has kicked off the Super Buckyball Tournament Beta event that runs through mid-July. Previously the 3v3 esports physics-based arena action had an open preseason testing event that allowed players to test the seasonal features of the game.

The July Beta event will feature the eight characters, three stadiums, and season pass system seen in the preseason along with three new characters, a brand new stadium, 4v4 and 2v2 game modes, new skins, and a newly added Singleplayer Season Mode. Murphy, Kenny, and Blade are the three new characters. Wastescape Town is the bame of the new stadium. Singleplayer Season Mode is a work-in-progress feature that allows players a glimpse of what it is like being the manager of a team of superpower talents working towards the Super Buckyball Championship.

Set in a cyberpunk future, Super Buckyball Tournament pits two teams against each other to score the most goals within a six minute window. The distant future is full of artificial intelligence, robotic humanoids, and humans with animal DNA spliced into their own. All of this is in an effort to give each contestant that edge in the arena.

Super Buckyball Tournament has yet to set a release date. Players can download through Steam and play in the Beta from 4AM PT July 8, 2021 until 4AM PT July 22, 2021.
