Tomas Sala and Wired Productions are flying into new skies with The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, with an August release date on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This edition includes all updates and additional content released so far and in addition will include an extensive all new content pack titled Edge of the World.
Previously in 2020, The Falconeer took to the skies on PC and the Xbox family of consoles. The BAFTA Nominated title delivered an energetic air combat gaming experience above The Great Ursee. Every single DLC, including The Kraken, The Hunter, and Atun’s Folly, being wrapped into The Falconeer: Warrior Edition since the original game’s launch brings the additional popular console platforms up to speed. The upcoming expansion, Edge of the World is also included, and for existing game owners on PC and Xbox the DLC will be available for purchase from Steam and the Microsoft Store.
We’ve loved working with Tomas in recent years, and we’re ecstatic to bring this BAFTA nominated game to new audiences on both PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. The Falconeer: Warrior Edition release date is set for August 5, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A retail price of $29.99 USD has been set for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 version with a $34.99 USD price for the Nintendo Switch version. The Edge of the World new expansion will launch on August 5 for PC and Xbox.
The Falconeer is currently available on Steam for PC and the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S for $29.99 USD. A Digital Deluxe version is available for PC that includes the soundtrack and game guide is also available on Steam. Tomas Sala is an independent game artist and designer based in The Netherlands. He is also the co-founder of the game studio Little Chicken Game Company. Gamers best know him for his Skyrim Mod series Moonpath to Elsweyr. Previously he has used his unique visual art style on titles such as Rekt, SXPD, and TrackLab.
