Independent game developer 3DIVISION has released Update #4 for its soviet-themed city sim and builder, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. This is the fourth major update since the game’s early access launch in March 2019.
Update #4 brings the nuclear industry into production bringing some needed heat to the Cold War. From mining uranium ore to processing nuclear fuel, players have access in managing the full chain of production. Nuclear power plants wait for the command to deliver energy for one’s growing republic.
Distribution offices are introduced in Update #4. Garages with trucks that distribute materials, resources and goods now automatically deliver these items according to the needs of industry and economy. Propaganda can be seen on buildings and new types of electric poles have been added.
A new random map generator has been added which allows increased replayability for players. Plus there are several various bug fixes and improvements with a full list of changes detailed here.
All of these additions, improvements and fixes falls on the heels of Content Updates #1, #2 and #3 that added several new transportation types and cableways along with various other game and performance improvements.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic with all previous content updates including Content Update #4 is currently available in early access on Steam for $24.99 USD.
