Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Content Update #2

Independent game studio 3DIVISION released Content Update #2 for their soviet-themed city builder Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic on Steam.

In Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic players get the chance to build their own communist society. Set in Eastern Europe as an imaginary country players manage all the aspects of a planned economy, create industrial complexes, build infrastructure, plan living areas, and tell citizens what to do. All of these actions are set to an authentic backdrop of soviet style buildings and landscapes of the 1960s through 1990s.

After being released into early access in March, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, saw Content Update #1 released in June with a heavy focus on transportation. Content Update #2 continues that transportation focus with the addition of the trolleybus. Players can now upload their own vehicle skins, new vehicles, new buildings, and craft their own landscapes through the Steam Workshop.

In addition in Content Update #2 players will notice improved performance with multi-threading changes.

During the early access period, 3DIVISION plans to add new types of transportation, vehicles, buildings, and gameplay mechanics. More information about the game can be found on its website at sovietrepublic.net or on the game’s roadmap on Trello.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Content Update #2 is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $24.99 USD. A special week long promotion runs until October 14 where the game is on sale with a discount of 25%.
