Players start off in a randomly generated environment. Every new run features a new labyrinth filled with rooms that contains unique enemies and bosses. Each of these foes ready to kill the players group.

Before venturing into the dungeon players pick random characters to fill out their group. The mercenaries available will have randomly generated characteristics such as drunken master or pyromancer.

Each boss possesses unique mechanics, behavior, and abilities. To defeat a boss players will need to understand the boss. To think like the boss. To be the boss.

Even in death, player’s characters while mortal, provide experience benefits to the mercenary guild. In other words one can die to win. The game becomes increasingly difficult very quickly and many deaths should be expected. As players progress through the game new items, skills, enemies, and other game elements will unlock aiding in the fight.
