Priest Simulator and Faither Praying for 2019 Releases

Ultimate Games S.A. has announced two new titles from the Polish studio Delirma; Priest Simulator and Faither both appearing in 2019.

Priest Simulator is a first-person game. Players will take on the role of a priest and perform specific activities related to the priest. According to the creators at Delirma, Priest Simulator will present the life of priests in an unconventional convention.

In our new game you will feel like a priest, the most privileged person in the village. We focus on an open world in which the main path of the storyline will be intertwined with intriguing side tasks. There will be plenty of standard activities – e.g. preaching sermons, visiting people and the sacraments but there will also be some more unusual activities such exorcisms and battles with demons

says one of the creators of the new game, Michał Jod.

During the gameplay, players will develop the priest character. Money collected in the game can be used for church modernization, car upgrades, weapons to fight demons, or underground laboratory development for incense and holy water preparation.

Players will be able to fight other priests in Divine Powers Challenges, destroy sects or make alliances, perform exorcisms on possessed people or animals, and fight demons.

The game also offers an extensive system of reputation and moral choices. According to Michał Jod:

Life is the art of selecting the lesser evil. Such will also be the case in our game, where we will solve problems in different ways or not solve them at all. If a resident asks us for help, then, of course, we will be able to help that person but the game will also offer alternatives less beneficial for the needy. We’ll kill the devil and receive from the client an envelope with a reward or we allow the demon to depart and we obtain an ability associated with black magic. The decisions will be reflected in the reputation indicator and we invest the money in developing the parish, car upgrades and better weapons

Priest Simulator has an expected release date of December 25, 2019.

In the other game, Faither, players will take on the role of an exorcist. As an exorcist the player will deal with a series of demonic possessions in a mysterious village. Numerous RPG elements, a dark history, and unconventional setting make for demanding gameplay.

Faither, which originally had the name Priest, is designed to be a completely separate project from Priest Simulator. This game will offer unique solutions and attract an original approach to the topic.

Players will have complete freedom with no restrictions during their progression with dynamic encounters that require prayers, artifacts, and stamina management.

There are 4 skill trees that include classic, engineer, magic, and barbarian. With over 50 households to save and more than 30 demons with unique abilities players will want to spend time at the presbytery preparing for fights. Faither also includes a traditional co-op split screen option.

Faither is scheduled for a June 6, 2019 release.
