Publisher Fireshine Games and developer Triplevision Games are set to fully launch their survival city-builder with roguelike deckbuilding mechanics, These Doomed Isles, by October’s end.
The 1.0 launch will be the end of Early Access and introduce an all-new Campaign Mode, featuring unique missions for each of the four playable gods. This mode is a new and improved version of the current Ascension Mode. Players can unleash their might through a series of rigorous challenges. Miracle Credits can be earned via these challenges to unlock new cards and improve their civilization’s chances of survival during future runs.
Similar to updates seen during the Early Access period, the 1.0 update will include bug and stability fixes. Players will notice an enhanced user interface that allows for an improved experience when assembling their deck.
For those unfamiliar with These Doomed Isles, players become one of four gods and create a new world. Each god has their own playstyle, abilities, cards, aesthetics, and enemies. Current gods include: Cernunnos, the Celtic god of nature; Plutus, the Greek god of wealth; Acan, the Mayan god of wine; and Inari, the Japanese God of Rice and Prosperity.
Create a new world. Forge the land, build settlements, and lead a new civilization. Craft a deck of cards and discover powerful combos that will bring benefits to followers and devastation to enemies. Defend the civilization from raiders, natural disasters, and mythical monstrosities in strategic run-based gameplay.
