Publisher Alawar and indie developer KORO.GAMES has released their medieval turn-based tactics roguelite, Necroking, on Steam for PC. Take the crown, embrace the darkness, and raise an undead army to dominate the lands.
Blending nostalgic classic tactics with modern designs of the roguelite genre, players take control of the crown and lead legions of undead minions. Use deckbuilding elements to deploy forces and engage in real-time tactical combat. Over 30 units of vile creatures and undead monstrosities are at one’s command.
Unlock skulls to improve. New abilities and unit upgrades will be necessary as one wages war across cities, villages, and graveyards.
Conquer the lands of the living. Levels are procedurally generated and replayable. The medieval stylized world utilizes a gloomy hand-crafted pixel art design.
Make quick decisive decisions in the chaos of battle. Explore a variety of difficulty options and a new game plus mode to become the one true Necroking.
Necroking Availability
Necroking is now available on PC for Windows and Mac via Steam for $4.99. The Necroking Soundtrack is available for $1.99 on Steam. Both the game and soundtrack are available with a 10% off launch discount until September 18, 2024. No information is available about any console plans for the game.
