Publisher Curve Games and indie developer Microbird have set a July 18, release date for Dungeons of Hinterberg. The announcement comes with a new release date trailer that encourages players to book their slaycation.
Set in the Austrian Alps, the visually stunning game incorporates a unique mix of single-player Action-RPG and social simulation gameplay elements. Hack’n’slash RPG action, puzzle solving, and social elements are blended together to create a wild adventure for players.
Monstrous creatures from Alpine myths await adventurers. Explore dungeons, solve puzzles, slay big bad bosses, claim epic loot, and forge interesting relationships while hanging out at the local pub or by catching a cozy flick at the theater. No matter the activity, players are encouraged to relax and enjoy their slaycation.
Last February, a Welcome to Hinterberg trailer highlighted the swampy area of Brünnelsumpf. Inspired by the boggy marshlands of Austria, Brünnelsumpf is one of the four distinct overworlds in the game. The travel tourist teaser trailer also showcased the adventurous destination and all the attractions of the village.
