Publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Balloon Studios have released a new gameplay video for Botany Manor, exploring the process to grow Pixie Tears.
In addition to the gameplay video reveal, Xbox pre-orders for the immersive flora cultivation sim are now available. The game is officially launches next Tuesday on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox family of consoles.
Set in 19th century England, the estate of Botany Manor is home to retired botanist Arabella Greene. At the estate resides her vast collection of rare and long-forgotten plants. Stepping into the role of Arabella, players will make the plants live once more by combing through her notes and exploring the historic grounds for clues. Players will need to determine what is needed to make the unusual flora flourish.
Unlock and plant new seeds. Around the luxurious property are a number of interactable objects that can be turned and flipped to aid in solving each garden puzzle. Grow the strange plants and discover their mysterious qualities. Along the journey details about Arabella’s life, career, and the challenges she faced as a woman scientist during the 19th century will be revealed.
The Botany Manor Pixie Tears gameplay video explores what a player must do to make the unusual plant bloom. Like all other plants on the estate, this plant has a particular series of steps to make it flourish. Pixie Tears are one of the many plants Arabella has collected over the years. Balloon Studios’ Laure De May takes players on the journey through Arabella’s research and determine what steps are necessary to bring this once forgotten plant back to full bloom.
