Gamers get ready to expand those Steam wishlists as the Steam Next Fest February 2024 Edition is here! The triannual event is now underway offering seven days full of game demos, developer livestreams, and teasers of upcoming game releases.
Prior to the event launch, a Steam Next Fest February 2024 Edition Event Trailer dropped on the Steam YouTube channel. The trailer teased several titles including gameplay for Phantom Fury, Southfield, Tales of Kenzera™: ZAU, Forgotlings, Night Stones, Copycat, Dread Dawn, Contenders: Arena, Bullfighter NEON, Meta-Ghost: The Breaking Show, Stormgate, Thyria, Emberbane, Throne of Bone, and Chasmal Fear.
From action and adventure to the supernatural and mysterious, there is just about a game for everyone during the week-long event. The Steam Next Fest event page breaks games down by genre featuring these categories: Action, Adventure, Strategy, Simulation, RPG, Puzzle, Platformer, Sports+Racing, Multiplayer, and Controller.
Players are encouraged to wishlist games that piques their interest so that they will be notified when the game launches. Wishlisted games will trigger an email notification to be sent upon release.
The event is also beneficial for developers as early feedback from players along with community building offers developers great value ahead of their game’s launch. Developers who would like to participate in a future Steam Next Fest for their game title will want to watch for the next event announcement on Steamworks where registration details and deadline information will be provided.
Steam Next Fest February 2024 Details
The Steam Next Fest February 2024 Edition began on Monday, February 5 at 10AM PST and will conclude on Monday, February 12 at 10AM PST. To access the event visit the Steam Next Fest page from the Steam store within the Steam client or visit the event page in a web browser.
