Ahoy there, Mimimi Games has globally launched their self-published stealth strategy game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. Join the supernatural pirate crew of The Red Marley and enjoy the hunt for a lost treasure.
Follow the cursed pirate crew of The Red Marley as they hunt for a mysterious treasure from the legendary Captain Mordechai. Set in an alternate Golden Age of Piracy in the Lost Caribbean, the pirates operate from The Red Marley, a ship with a living soul that can stop time.
Each crewmate has a unique supernatural power. Last March, the developer introduced several members of the cursed crew in the Characters Trailer. Shipmates include the lethal ship navigator Afia Manicato, Gaëlle le Bris with a magical cannon, the jokester Mr. Mercury with his pet fish companion Sir Reginald, and the ship cook and ninja assassin Toya of Iga.
Hunt for Captain Mordechai’s lost treasure and learn about the unique lore of The Red Marley’s crew. But beware, the menacing army of the Inquisition will try to stop any who seek out the lost treasure.
Using stealth tactics, players will deploy members of the crew to dispose of any threats found on the various islands while accomplishing any objectives. Plan out each move and stop time if necessary with help from The Red Marley itself. If something goes wrong, time can be reset, and a different tactic tried to get the treasure.
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Price and Availability
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is now available on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The base game is priced at $39.99 / €39.99. A PC only Supporter Edition that includes the base game, Original Game Soundtrack, and the Artbook & Strategy Guide is priced at $49.99 / €49.99. Both the the Original Game Soundtrack and Artbook & Strategy Guide are available separately for $9.99 / €9.99 and $4.99 / €4.99 respectively.
A 10% launch discount in assorted stores is available for a limited time.
Previously, a playable Steam demo for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew was made available during Steam Next Fest this past June and then again in July. During the Steam Next Fest event, the game reached 19 out of the 50 most-played demos.
