Publisher Tripwire Presents and developer Sweet Bandits Studios have announced the released of the Deceive Inc. High Alert update. In addition the Deceive Inc. soundtrack for spy vs. spy multiplayer FPS is available for free.
The Heat System, first introduced in the Misery Empire update, has seen significant improvements. Community response has been overwhelmingly positive and the developers are cranking up the Heat System even more with Heat 2.0. Updates to values relating to damage, NPC interactions, new Elite Guards, and penalty changes have been adjusted pertaining to the system. These changes result in players having more matches packed with surprising, clever, and memorable spy-vs-spy moments.
A new Dossier Menu features top secret information on all NPC characters. This includes their often requested names for team communications and call outs. Also included in the menu is a full list of status effects.
Other changes include XP booster changes, crouch fatigue, cover change interaction time tweak, animated inks, weapon balancing, and more. A full list of changes in the High Alert update are available here.
Deceive Inc. Soundtrack
Developer Sweet Bandits Studios have released the Deceive Inc. official soundtrack. Available for free on all major streaming music platforms, the soundtrack features disco funk and neo-soul tracks composed by Sweet Bandits Studios’ Audio Designer/Music Producer Simon Cress. Showtime, the game’s reveal trailer theme, is available for listening below.
The entire album is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Tidal, Deezer, and more. Content creators are encouraged and welcome to use the official Deceive Inc. soundtrack on any Instagram and TikTok reels.
Deceive Inc. Availability
To celebrate the release of the Deceive Inc. High Alert update and official soundtrack, players can participate in a Double XP event. Starting on June 15 at 11 AM EDT, the Double XP event will run until it ends on June 19 at 11 AM EDT.
Deceive Inc. is available on PC via Humble Bundle, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and on consoles for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The MSRP for the Standard Edition is priced at $19.99 / £16.99 / €19.99 and the Black Tie Edition MSRP is $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Along with the base game, the Black Tie Edition features the Dressed to Impress profile portrait, title, equipment ink and an additional 1000 Bonds, the in-game premium currency.
