HeroCraft PC and indie developer Bad Optics Games have added a range of new cosmetics in the Catizens Vanity Update.
Announced during the Dames 4 Games June 2023 show, the update brings a variety of new items to the Early Access cat colony management sim. The Vanity Update provides players with a collection of new accessories, rooftop decorations, fur patterns, and cat customization options.
For the first time in game indoor decorations are available. In addition, special kitties and cat designs submitted by players make an appearance in the update.
Last August, Catizens entered Early Access. At Early Access launch a roadmap was provided to players. Update 1 was released last October, adding the level 4 Swamps area, Acolyte profession, and a quest for the Rat King allowing access to Pumpkin Lanterns.
The Catizens Vanity Update keeps inline with most of the content planned in the Early Access roadmap Update 2. Next up on the roadmap is Update 3 with the planned Level 5 volcanic climb and more decorations, vanity items, and player suggested improvements.
