Publisher Fellow Traveller and Canadian independent developer Copychaser Games have released a Steam demo for their journalistic adventure title, Times & Galaxy. The game will be appearing at LudoNarraCon 2023 with a playable demo and an event exclusive gameplay stream.
Become the first-ever robot reporter intern at a space-based news organization. Do all the expected legwork to get the story. Each cycle presents players with assignment choices. Pick a story and take off to chase leads and interview sources.
Once all the required information is acquired, players can use the unique Build-a-Story mechanic to create an article. Choices will impact the quality and tone of the story, which influences how both editors and readers will react to it. The choices made in each story will begin to shape the reputation and popularity of the Times & Galaxy. In other words, everything is riding on the player.
The Times & Galaxy newsroom is located on the massive starship called the Scanner. It is here where players will sleep, eat, work, and relax. This ship contains a diverse and colorful cast of crewmates, fellow reporters, editorial staff, and pilots. There is a cast of 100 strange alien characters players will meet throughout the game.

A Times & Galaxy demo is available on Steam. The demo offers around 90 minutes of gameplay that includes exploration, adventure, and point and click elements. During LudoNarraCon 2023, May 4th through May 8th, a gameplay stream will feature the game’s writers playing through the demo.
Times & Galaxy has a planned release for 2024 on Steam where players can wishlist now. For more information visit the game’s Steam product page.
