Plantera 2: Golden Acorn Garden Builder Out Now on PC

Independent development studio VaragtP has released their garden-building game Plantera 2: Golden Acorn on PC through Steam. The round blue Mellows return in this sequel to Plantera and tend to the garden once more.

Design, decorate, build, and inhabit a dream garden. Grow plants, bushes, trees, animals, and water features. Players can choose what crops and how many they wish to place in their garden. The same goes for bushes, trees, animals, and other decorations.

There is even a rumor that the great magical oak tree has placed its seed in the garden. Those who tend to the oak tree, growing it, are able to harvest its Golden Acorns. Grow the oak tree bigger and maybe discover its secrets.

With the help of the blue Mellows, players will find that their gardens continues to flourish when they are not playing. This includes new harvested crops, additional money and experience.

As players gain experience they will level up, unlocking new crops, bushes, trees, animals, and decorations. New plots of land and special items such as hats and masks for Mellows can also be unlocked.

On occasion, unwelcomed guests may visit the garden. Sly foxes, grumpy hogs, and UFOs are some of the visitors that need to be chased away by punching them or establishing proper defenses. Guard dogs, fences, or bees are example defenses.

Gameplay is simple and relaxing. Harvest crops, fend off the unwelcomed, and add new items to the garden. Just don’t forget to take a moment to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
