Binary Haze Interactive and developer Adglobe have released the dark fantasy tactical RPG Redemption Reapers on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Physical edition pre-orders are coming in the near future.
Without warning the grisly and gruesome Mort armies descended on the world. Nation after nation fell to this unstoppable foe. Humanity, now decimated, turns to the once-despised mercenary group known as the Ashen Hawk Brigade to find redemption.
In game, players will take control of the Ashen Hawk Brigade and fight for humanity’s future. By utilizing strategic team tactics, one can outsmart the ever-present armies threatening total annihilation of humanity.
Even though the Ashen Hawk Brigade are heavily outnumbered, the use of surprise enables them to deliver defeats to the Mort. Players will command a fearless duo chosen from five warriors to deliver a devastating one-two punch to their evil foes. The use of special skills such as Staggered Stance, which knows enemies off their balance, will help even the playing field. Other abilities like Sentinel Stance will nullify enemy strikes and Martyr abilities will absorb damage meant for nearby allies.
Finding the right balance between strength, accuracy, crit chance, and repairability across a range of weapons and accessories is critical for success. Players can opt to double down on strengths or mitigate weaknesses through each soldier’s active and passive traits as they level up.
Redemption Reapers is a truly special title. The story immerses you in the complexities of war, and the gameplay makes you think outside the box to accomplish insurmountable odds. Gameplay will offer different dialogue choices. Players will discover the personal stories behind each fighter and more specific why they fight. Progression will build up bonds between brothers and sisters in arms, fighting back evil while rescuing villagers, protecting the innocent, and evading death in an epic tale of war, loss and triumph.
