Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC Heads to Mercury

Saber Interactive and developer 34BigThings sends players to Mercury in the Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The Nintendo Switch Winter DLC release is coming soon.

Head to the glacial plains and lava-stricken canyons of Mercury in the fast-paced anti-gravity racing title’s second premium DLC since the release of Redout 2. Season Pass owners will receive the DLC for free. For everyone else the DLC is available as a standalone purchase for their respective platform.

The new Terror Rupes environment contains four original tracks, three base courses and a boss track, all of which are reversible. This area offers high-speed action with some dramatic temperature shifts. In multiplayer lobbies, only the host will need to own the Winter Pack DLC to make the tracks available for everyone else.

Along with the new tracks are 28 new career events and new music by Dance With the Dead. Plus there are 29 new bonus items such as colors, cosmetics, and liveries.

A free update on PC, PlayStation and Xbox accompanies the Winter Pack DLC release. The update introduces Training Mode, a new practice feature allowing players to race an unlimited amount of laps on any course. Nintendo Switch players can expect the update patch at a later date. A full list of changes in the patch is available here.

Redout 2 is available on Windows PC via Humble Bundle, Steam, and Epic Games Store for $29.99 for base game. Digital console Standard and Deluxe Editions are available on PS4 and PS5 from the PlayStation Store, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S from Microsoft, and Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo Store for $29.99 and $44.99. The Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC is available on PC and consoles for $9.99/£8.99/€9.99.
