Wired Productions and independent game developer Nosebleed Interactive have released on PC the Kung Fury DLC for their 1990s arcade management sim Arcade Paradise. The Kung Fury DLC launches on consoles in January 2023.
Joining the other 35 plus original games created by Nosebleed Interactive, is the very first licensed in-game cabinet, Kung Fury: Street Rage. This 2015 game from Hello There Games is a cult hit in the high score community and a companion to the 2015 Swedish martial arts comedy Kung Fury.
Set in 1985, the game’s premise is about violence running wild on the streets of Miami. As the toughest martial artist cop around along with three very tough enforcers from across space and time, it is time to clean up these mean streets.
Players pick from one of four unique characters with their own abilities, playstyles, and durability. Taking to the streets, classic two button arcade action unfolds against waves of enemies. Chase the high score in this new cabinet with new goals, objectives, and leaderboards. Features authentic retro arcade gameplay styling and aesthetics, plus a synth soundtrack provided by Swedish electro artists Mitch Murder and Joel Eriksson.
The Kung Fury: Street Rage DLC for Arcade Paradise is out now on PC for $2.99 / £2.49 / €2.99. Starting on January 12, 2023, the DLC will be available for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Arcade Paradise is available digitally on PC through Humble Bundle, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG for $19.99. In addition, the game is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and Utomik.
Physical versions for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 are available on The Wired Store. The physical version comes with a double sided poster, graffiti sticker set, reversible inlay sleeve, and digital EP download. PlayStation physical copies are priced at $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 and the Nintendo Switch physical version is priced at $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99.
