Publisher tinyBuild and indie game studio niceplay games have mixed all the right ingredients and released Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator. The game arrives on PC, Xbox and Game Pass after brewing in PC Early Access for over one year.
A magical new career awaits for those taking the job of a local town alchemist. Set in a fantasy town, players are asked to brew up various concoctions for the local residents. From spicing up the next batch of beer for a brewer to providing a hero with the strongest potions, players will create all sorts of magical mixes.
Alchemy can be tricky. Every pinch of ingredient to each physics-driven turn of the spoon can impact the quality and properties of the created potions. Regardless of the potion’s quality, players will want to sell it for the highest price. A haggling system allows one to charm money out of the pockets of customers and into their own.
The launch version of the game features an assortment of new features and content. New players and returning Early Access players can take on dozens of new quests, hundreds of new potion orders, and charm their customers with seventeen new conversation topics when haggling.
Some alchemists might want to try their hand servicing the darker side magical users with their potion-crafting skills. By attracting shady customers, players can fulfill all the devious needs of rogues and evil wizards. So what if a well-paying villain causes some chaos, right?
Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator is available on Windows PC via Humble Bundle, Steam, Epic Games, and GOG for $14.99. The game is also available on Xbox via Microsoft for $19.99 and on Game Pass.
