Coatsink and indie developer Noio today announced that the Nintendo Switch release of Cloud Gardens will be delayed.
Originally set to launch on May 12, 2022, on the Nintendo Switch, the game is going to spend some more time germinating. At this time a new release date is not available. More information is expected to be shared soon.
In September of last year Cloud Gardens launched on PC and Xbox. The launch came after a year in Early Access on Steam that included several major updates such as the Industrial Update in March of 2021.
The game is a meditative title that allows players to embrace their creativity through small plant-covered dioramas of brutalism. Hundreds of discarded items can be repurposed by planting seeds and allowing nature to reclaim world of the manufactured. In a way Cloud Gardens is a mix of a gardening simulator, a puzzle game, and a dystopian landscape builder.
Cloud Gardens is currently available on PC for Windows and Mac through Steam for $17.99 USD or Itch.io for $17.49 and on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One from Microsoft for $17.49.
