24 Entertainment’s inaugural NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Championship (NBWC) in Singapore kicks off on January 13, 2022. Event winners will be crowned world champions and given “The Ancient Cup” plus a grand total prize of $1.5 million USD.
The first major competitive tournament for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT allows trios, who have won their regions, to face off against each other on Morus Isle. This is the moment for the best players to showcase their skills and prove they are the best. Ultimately only one team can emerge as the victor and be crowned the NARAKA: BLADEPOINT World Champions.
A livestream of the NBWC in Singapore for English audiences on Twitch will be available each day between Thursday, January 13, to Sunday, January 16, at 4 PM (GMT+8). For viewers in the United States the first livestream starts on Thursday, January 13 at 3 AM for EST viewers or 12 AM for PST viewers. Vietnamese audience can watch via Facebook and NimoTV.
Qualifiers consist of teams from around the world including North America, Europe, South East Asia, and Asia. Competing in the mix are four pro teams: Nigma, Alliance, NOCT, and LDLC OL. There are also twelve other teams from mainland China that are participating. More information about the event is available on the game’s website.
For those unfamiliar with NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, the game features a 60-player battle royale experience for PC users. Blending brutal melee combat and fluid movement by means of grappling and parkour creates matches that are both exciting and intense. The combat action is mythical with martial arts inspiration with vast arsenals of melee and ranged weapons for the legendary and customizable heroes inspired by legends of the Far East.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is available on Windows PC through Steam for $19.99 USD for the base game. A Deluxe Edition and an Asura Edition are available at $34.99 USD each while the Ultimate Edition is available for $49.99 USD.
