Glyph Rolls Out on Steam for PC

Bolverk Games is rolling out their 3D platformer Glyph on Steam for PC after releasing the game on Nintendo Switch in January of this year. With positive reviews and reactions the game has seen a growing fanbase ever since release. The game’s Discord channel has over 1500 members and the game’s Twitter added over 700 followers in the last few weeks.

We have almost reached the critical point where our Discord server is buzzing with Glyph players 24/7. Insect pun intended. Jokes aside though: I look forward to welcoming all new future players with good gaming vibes, weekly Glyph challenges, silly content, and more.

It’s a very active server, and we are fortunate to have the devs, the CEO, our music man, and, basically, everyone involved with the game take part in the discussions there.

Designed with an easy to learn, difficult to master philosophy the gameplay combines aerial maneuvers with peaceful exploration in a vibrant and colorful world by controlling a sphere called the Glyph. Players are given the end goal of restoring the ancient Temple City that has been overcome by the desert on a dying world where a runaway technology has fractured civilization. This area functions as the game’s non-linear hub world.

In Exploration mode, players have access to more than 80 levels. With so many levels, players will need to put in serious effort in order to see the entirety of the game. Time Trial mode puts players to the test in 30 blazing hot levels that tests one’s skills.

Over 100 secrets and upgrades are placed throughout the game starting at the beginning and hidden all the way to the end. In Glyph players won’t have to pay for extra skins or cool unlocks. At the end of the game is an extremely wicked and mean final boss. Appealing to both the chill-out players and speedrunners, the game’s design as an open-world allows for unique and creative ways to move through the levels.

It is great to be rolling out on Steam with confidence after having been so well received on Nintendo Switch. Our 3d platformer is now more bouncy than ever, and we’re excited to share Glyph with a wider audience on PC.

Glyph is available on Windows PC through Steam for $19.99 USD. A special launch 15% off promotion is available on Steam until August 16, 2021. The game is also available on the Nintendo Switch for $19.99 USD. More information about Glyph can be found be following @PlayGlyph on Twitter or by visiting the game’s website at playglyph.com.
