Offworld Trading Company Interdimensional DLC and Free Steam Weekend

Mohawk Games and Stardock have released a brand new Interdimensional DLC for their fast-paced economic RTS Offworld Trading Company. To celebrate the latest DLC launch the game is also having a free to play weekend on Steam allowing new players a chance to experience the game for the first time.

In the Interdimensional DLC players can explore an alternate reality that combines all of the challenges one experienced on Jupiter’s moons Io and Europa in addition to Mars’s moon, Ceres. Players will continue to fight for economic domination on maps with mixed terrain where all the previous worlds rule are in play at once.

There are a variety of terrain types and custom maps that add new challenges and new opportunities for economic exploitation. For example one might find the frozen tundra of Europa right next to hot surfaces of Io. The ability to understand and make smart strategic building placement decisions are going to be key to getting the most out of the available resources. Player are also free to create and share their own maps through the Steam Workshop.

The Interdimensional DLC for Offworld Trading Company is available now for $4.99 USD on Steam. This DLC requires the base game in order to play. Currently there are 12 additional DLC items for the game that are on sale during the free steam weekend.

Offworld Trading Company is free to play until March, 22 when the free Steam weekend ends at 1 PM EST. The regular price for Offworld Trading Company is $14.99 USD and during the free to play weekend players can pickup the Offworld Trading Company Core Edition that includes the Almanac DLC and Jupiter’s Forge Expansion for $14.99 USD instead of the $29.99 USD regular price.
