PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition Early Access Soon

Philippine-based indie game developer Ranida Games is bringing PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition to early access, a PC version of their mobile hit. The PC version is based off Basketball Slam 2020 that has over 10 million downloads worldwide and features the teams and players of Philippine Basketball Association.

In the Arcade Edition up to four players can face-off in 2-on-2 arcade-style full court basketball. In either local multiplayer or through Steam Remote Play friends can get together and enjoy the exaggerated game play in PBA Basketball Slam. From high-flying dunks to epic moves on the court the game brings back the nostalgic fun of ’90s hit games of NBA Jam and Street Dunk.

Bringing Basketball Slam to PC will allow more players to enjoy the game and will also allow us to enhance the game further. With the success of the mobile game having more than 10 million downloads worldwide, we’ve been able to polish the user interface and experience for the PC version, and more features will be added as we go through development.

Full keyboard and controller support is featured in the Arcade Edition. In the early access release both Campaign Mode and Quick Game features will be included.

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a professional man’s basketball league in the Philippines. It was the first professional basketball league in Asia and it is the second oldest in the world after the NBA. Founded on April 9, 1975, the league features twelve company-branded franchised teams.

PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition is coming to early access in August 2020 on Steam for Windows PC. For more information about PBA Basketball Slam: Arcade Edition visit the game’s Steam page or follow @PBASlam on Twitter. Basketball Slam 2020 is currently available on the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android mobile devices.
