The Falconeer PC & Xbox One 2020 Announcement

Set for its world debut at the upcoming X019 in London, The Falconeer, will land on PC and Xbox One in 2020. Created by indie developer Tomas Sala and published by Wired Production, the game combines classic air combat with an ocean-world fantasy RPG.

The story takes place above The Great Ursee, a mystical world with corruption-filled oceans. Players act as “Falconeer” who in third person, take their armed aerial mounts to the skies. Each one is an agile warrior with ranged weapons.

It is up to the player to decide if they will fight for a noble cause or live the life of a rogue. Each player will have their own unique experience as they set out and explore the bleak, yet beautiful world. Full of wondrous locations and warmongering factions, The Great Ursee has mysterious secrets hidden deep below.

We’re excited for fans to experience The Falconeer, a true gem that will set the bar for what indie developers can offer games. From the beginning, we’ve been enamoured with this breath-taking aerial combat RPG, and are proud to be able to work collaboratively with Tomas, whose passion and talents can be seen in this beautiful and mesmerizing game.

Aerial combat fans are treated to a fluid and breathtaking open world experience in The Falconeer. The mounts control fluidly and freely during their flights similar to their bird of prey counterparts. This gives players the sense of awe-filled freedom while being fully immersed into the epic soundscape.

At Game Connection 2019, The Falconeer was nominated for developer awards, and won Best Hardcore Game and Best Hardcore PC/Console at Game Connection 2019.

The Falconeer is heading to PC and Xbox One in 2020. At X019 on November 14-16, 2019, The Falconeer will be taking center stage with a playable demo. All the latest game details can be found at
