Citadel: Forged with Fire Out on Steam & Consoles

Hop on a broomstick, practice some spells, and don’t forget to tame and fly on a dragon in Citadel: Forged with Fire. From Blue Isle Studios, the creators of Slender: The Arrival and Valley, comes an online sandbox RPG world teeming with magic for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 players.

In the game there is a lot for players to do. They can get their first broom and master flying with the help of some Faerie Dust from some sprites. Or players can gear up by hunting down legendary monsters and plundering mysterious treasure-filled caverns. At the end of the day, players who went out into the world and tamed a dragon can rain down fire of their defeated enemies and create a name for themselves.

There is so much to do in Citadel as players can craft their own spells and control the magic that is woven throughout the world of Ignus. We spent two extra years developing the game alongside the community and pouring in more content. Head in game to lead giant raids with friends, tame and fight fantastic creatures, craft custom spells, clash in epic PvP battles and build a massive kingdom to fortify and defend. Each time you log in, a new adventure awaits.

Last week, Citadel: Forged with Fire held a free to play beta weekend where they were able to experience the robust magic system. In this world magic is a part of everything with combat, flight, taming, building, crafting, harvesting, farming, and so much more. Players start with the arcane magical essence and progress as they explore and discover the world.

The world of Ignus is massive. It is a 6km x 6km realm filled with fantastical creatures like Infernal Dragons or more common creatures of fantasy lands such forest guardians, wild boars, phoenix, giant golems, skeleton warriors, and divine unicorns.

A farming and crafting system filled with seeds, farming plots, sprinklers, and fertilizers allows players additional options for creating recipes that provides deeper gameplay. Four weapon types in the game, staff, wand, gauntlet, and melee let players choose their style. The same goes for clothing and armor options as players can customize each piece of their suit of gear.

End game content includes the Forsaken Crypts where players face off against challenging bosses. A post-launch roadmap of free content includes a new quest storyline spanning the entirety of the game is expected to land in February 2020.

Both public and private servers are available. Up to 50 friends can play together on the official PvP and PvE servers. Rentable servers are available for customization.
