Epicinium The Environment Conscious Strategy Game Set for November Kickstarter

Epicinium, a multiplayer strategy game, that features simultaneous turns and nature as a finite resource is gearing up a Kickstarter campaign that begins on November 1, 2018.

Players will need to balance their military and resources. Victors will be scored by how much nature remains in the end. The environment influences the economy and troops. Negative environment impacts such as building factories, increase global warming and can lead to destructive weather effects such as drought or firestorms.

At night, if there are enough natural resources, cities will gain power and generate income. In order to defeat your opponent, you must occupy or destroy all of their city tiles.

The game features multiplayer battles with up to 8 players, 1v1, free-for-all, and teams modes. Matches will either be ranked or unranked. An adaptive AI will learn from your strategies and a single player campaign with a story about tough choices and conflicting interests will be included.

Epicinium is being developed for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The goal of the Kickstarter campaign will be to “breach the last stretch of development that includes building the campaign, perfecting the multiplayer and making the game even easier to read”.
