Independent video game developer Wales Interactive has entered into a strategic partnership with Curveball Leisure, a global video game distributor, to release a physical boxed of edition of Sker Ritual. Players will be able to find the physical boxed editions on Curveball Leisure’s ecommerce site, The Game Collection, and other retail outlets around the world starting in early June.
As a follow-up to Maid of Sker, the gore-filled fps four-player co-op horror title, Sker Ritual, returns to Sker Island. Players attempt to survive as they face off against a nearly endless onslaught of the vicious Quiet Ones. To have a fighting chance, players will need to gun down threats, collect Celtic God powers, upgrade their arsenal of steampunk weapons, and wipe out the evil residing on the island.

Curveball’s extensive global distribution network will allow us to literally put our game into the hands of more players than ever before through the medium of a physical disc format along with original artwork.

This past April the developer released their self-published title, Sker Ritual, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Since release, the game has attained almost 3,500 reviews with an 85% “Very Positive” rating on Steam.

In early May, it was revealed on PlayStation.Blog that Sker Ritual was one of April 2024’s top downloads on the PS5 platform reaching the top after release. Following the launch on Xbox, the game reached the top 5.
Sker Ritual Availability
A physical edition of Sker Ritual for PS5 can be pre-ordered now on The Game Collection website for £24.95.
Sker Ritual is available via Humble Bundle and Steam for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S from their respective stores for $24.99 / £19.99. A Digital Deluxe version is available featuring the game and four cosmetic DLCs for $34.99 / £29.99. On the Epic Games Store, Sker Ritual is listed as coming coon in Q2, 2024.
A Sker Ritual demo is available on Steam. Note that the game features a mature content warning with the developers describing the game as having violence, blood, and minor gore that may not be suitable for all ages.
