Toplitz Productions and developer Render Cube have released a new insider video, sharing information about the upcoming co-op mode and new multiplayer map for Medieval Dynasty. The free multiplayer update drops in December for Steam players and in 2024 for other PC platforms and consoles.
Acting as an insider look, the new video titled Co-Op Update Devlog #2 takes a look at the new multiplayer map The Oxbow. Emphasis is placed on players having a choice for this map whether it be solo or up to 4 player co-op gameplay. This new co-operative map is one of the largest content updates added to the game since launch with new characters and new quests.
Village management has seen changes. Players will setup their village together on the new map, not individually. Together players will have to decide what everyone will do while also distributing resources and managing village happiness.
Romance now has a rivalry factor. Players may find themselves competing against each to win the favor of a potential partner. To gain affection, players will really have to pay attention to what gifts a potential partner likes, what their favorite topics are, and what items will or will not please them. Those who wait may miss out.
In the Character Creator, players can choose to play as a man or a woman. Features such as faces, eyes, noses, lips, hair colors and more can be customized to one’s liking. Other options such as facial scars are available.
An emote system has been added to increase the ease of communication. Over 20 emotes are available including hello, no, help me, and follow me.
The Medieval Dynasty co-op game mode along with The Oxbow map and other update features will arrive on Steam on December 7, 2023. Current gen consoles and other PC platforms will gain access to all of the features in the co-op update in Q1/Q2 2024.

Medieval Dynasty is available on Windows PC via Humble Bundle, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Microsoft Store for $34.99. A Medieval Dynasty Digital Supporter Pack containing various digital goodies including the game’s original soundtrack is also available for $7.99. The game is also available digitally on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles for $34.99.
