ESDigital Games and indie game developer Ludus Future have released their hack’n’slash RPG Demon Skin on consoles. The release also includes the free Crossroads of the Worlds DLC previously released on Steam for PC players.
Darkness from the far-off corners of the universe now threaten the entire world. Now the mighty Order of Wanderers, whose members possess divine superhuman powers, are the only ones who can resist this dark threat.
While observing a sinister ritual to restore a powerful ancient artifact, one of the Wanderers attempted to interrupt the ceremony with life altering consequences. In the attempt, the Wanderer was struck by a flow of energy from the artifact, turning the Wanderer into a demon. To regain their former appearance, the Wanderer must recover the now stolen artifact.
Set in a dark and brutal fantasy world, players will find themselves hacking and slashing their way through demonic hordes. Unique combat mechanics combines with RPG and fighting genre game elements, allowing players to come up with their own unique tactics.
Crystal shards can be collected to improve one’s armor and become a more powerful demon. More than 30 types of blade and blunt weapons are available. Some weapons are only effective against certain enemy types. In addition, players can opt to destroy enemies with their own hands, even if it isn’t the most efficient means.
New perks in skill trees along with rare and ancient artifacts can unlock powerful super skills. By skillfully combining combat stances with various weapon types, players can achieve an efficient dominance in the field of battle as they work to reclaim their former self.
Demon Skin Availability
Demon Skin along with the free Crossroads of the Worlds DLC is available on Windows PC through Humble Bundle and Steam for $14.99. Console releases are available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch for $9.99 / €9.99.
During the console release week, Demon Skin will have a 20% discount on all console platforms. Note that the PlayStation discount is limited to PlayStation Plus members. On Steam, the PC version is available with an 80% discount until May 19, 2023. In the near future Demon Skin will be available on the Epic Games Store.
