Independent publisher and developer RedDeer.Games have announced that their in-development farming and fashion RPG title, Cottonville, is nearing the final stages of development. The game is a mix between farming and dress-up games presented in a cute chibi anime style.
Learn how to make clothes from the ground up. Start with a simple workshop and grow into the outfitter business. Get to know neighbors, fulfill client quests, and hang out in this relaxing game.
Farming, harvesting, and foraging are some of the ways to put together the necessary materials to create outfits that clients want. There are new patterns that players can learn and choose for their project designs.
The first steps begin by planting cotton, harvesting silk, and caring for sheep. Materials gathered from these sources lead to sewing, knitting, dying, and making fabrics.
Ultimately the end goal is to make sure the workshop’s clients are happy with the final product. Each NPC, local or not, have their own preferences and expectations when evaluating each order, seeing how much they like the finished product.
