Developer and publisher Iphigames have released The Endless Mode Update for their supernatural survival horror game Abtos Covert. The version 1.2 update also includes a complete visual overhaul to the indie game’s Photo Mode.
Endless Mode is an intense new gameplay mode for Abtos Covert, where players will faceoff against progressively more difficult enemies. There is no end to this shift. This mode tests one’s knowledge of the outposts defense systems. The question is how long can one survive against the variety of enemies coming their way?
Photo Mode has received a complete visual overhaul. The existing keyboard menu has been expanded along with a new slider-based approach. New spawnable entities such as the Fox, Deer, and Boar are available along with the Girl and Lykaon. These entities can be placed anywhere on the map and have their picture taken. Several new effects have been added including the flashlight and CCTV overlay.
The developer wishes to extend their gratitude to the entire virtual photographer community that has embraced the game’s Photo Mode and provided useful feedback. Ludovic “Shinobi” Helme and Mik Bromley (The Fourth Focus) were specially thanked for their valuable and detailed input.
