Preserve Compendium Update Adds Gameplay Enhancements

Publisher Grindstone and Slovakian developer Bitmap Galaxy have release the new Compendium Update for their Early Access title, Preserve. Plus new key gameplay enhancements are available in cozy nature-building game.

Since the Preserve Early Access release this past August, the game has seen two major updates. The first update added five extra puzzles to each biome and several bug fixes. With the second content release comes the Compendium Update, adding a wealth of information to the game.

In the new compendium, players can find all sorts of additional information on cards. Details on a card’s scoring, placement rules, gameplay effects, and interesting trivia can all be found in the compendium.

Several minor changes can be found in this update. The removal card action can now be canceled. River minimum length has been reduced from 3 to 2. Classic Mode now displays additional information boxes relating to each map’s size unlock.

Under Graphics Options, the FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) has been updated to the latest version for enhanced visual performance. Various performance optimizations and numerous bug fixes has made their way into the update for smoother gameplay and a more stable experience.

The Compendium Update for Preserve is available now.

Preserve Availability

Preserve is available in Early Access on PC for Windows, Mac, and Linux via Humble Bundle and Steam for $12.49 / €12.49. A digital artbook and soundtrack are also available for $4.99 each. All three items, the game, digital artbook, and soundtrack are available in a Preserve Wonder Edition for $20.22 / €20.22
